We make jokes about being old farts but the truth is some of us are getting older and some of us do have some of
the conditions that can lead to our death. We don't think about that much so when someone who we have grown to
respect suddenly dies it is a very great shock.
I have been helped by Ron's advice and support over the years. He is one of the most frequent contributors in
offering advice and suggestions. I will miss those very much. From his posts I know that Ron loved the farm I hope
from that he died doing what he loved.

his old good friend. He was always ready to give you a hand. It is a very sad day for his family and us.

Of all the great people I have had the pleasure of meeting during my various CAHPI conferences and trips, Ron is
one of my very favourites. There are very few gifted people in this world who make you feel like you have known
them all your life, upon first meeting. Mr. Ron (as Laurel calls him) was such a person. We shared a background in
Zoology and a love of the outdoors, as well as a passion for the profession.
The wildlife of Central Ontario is a little safer today, but the rest of us are a little worse off for losing you.
We will all miss you, my friend.

Ron Tropea was one of those rare people that I can honestly say that my life was better for having known Him, and
that my life is diminished by his passing. He was a great Canadian and a great Home Inspector, and He will be
missed by us all. I was fortunate to be able to call Him a friend. His family deserves our gratitude for having shared
Him with us, and our condolences in their time of loss.

What a great loss. I only met Ron 3 or 4 times but every time we met I left with a special something. He truly loved life
and knew how to live it as can be witnessed by his many wise and humourous posts on this forum. My condolences
to all his family and friends.Ron you will be truly missed and you are in my prayers.

Ron was one of a kind. When I was up in Ottawa last spring I had the pleasure and privilege of spending some
quality time with Ron and his family at the house. He and his wife treated me like one of their own.
My condolences to his family. They will be in my prayers tonight and from now on. It's a very sad day for the home
inspection industry.

Ron has been an inspiration to many members and has been a great contributor towards the advancement of the
Home Inspection Industry. Ron has also been a great supporter of the Association regionally, provincially, and
federally. Ron will be greatly missed and the void he has left will not be easy to fill. On behalf of myself, the Board of
Directors and the entire membership we would like to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to his family
and his friends. Ron will be missed dearly.

Just this once I really wish someone could say it and mean it and it would come true................."Kidding, just
kidding"........I'd give anything to see him say it one more time.
